Small, Itasca. To ACNC in Support of Waubra Foundation

Dr. Laurie’s scholarly and scientific reports have been welcome components of the cutting-edge body of knowledge that grows, due in large-part to her dedication and worldwide collaborative efforts in the cause of finding acknowledgement and relief for the sufferers of wind turbine- generated infrasonic wave radiation.

Dear Commissioner Pascoe;

I would like to offer you my personal experience with the Waubra Foundation through its CEO, Dr. Laurie.

My home is in central Navajo County in Arizona, U.S.A. In August, 2009, industrial wind turbines began to turn at approximately 11.25+ miles from my home. I had never heard anything about wind turbines, so I had no idea of possible adverse health effects of these gigantic machines I could see turning in the distance. At the time, I had been aware that I had “weak” adrenal glands.

In early September, neighbors had to take me to the hospital emergency room with bradychardia and other symptoms of Addison’s Disease. The condition was stabilized and over the next two years, my health experienced ups and downs, and additional emergency room visits, while the general trend was downward and I began to notice alarming instances of memory loss and the loss of my ability to make instantaneous memory connections in my mind. I also was having increasing difficulty breathing. My heart would palpitate and experience “PACs,” my pulse and blood pressure were often dangerously low. There were other indicators of physiological and emotional decline.

In March, 2010, I had visited the wind power plant and experienced an extremely disturbing episode during which I perceived an inundating bombardment of long, low harmonic waves through my body and concentrated in my vestibular organs. I researched and found that I am one of a small number of people who actually perceive infrasound throughout my body and focused in the vestibular organs.

Realizing that my worsening condition had begun shortly after the wind turbines were turned-on, I began to wonder if my health problems were related to the wind turbines.

Subsequent observation and record-keeping proved a definite correlation between the symptomatology and the action of the wind, along with certain other weather conditions.

Comparing my experience with a friend’s dog at approximately 12.5-13 miles from the turbines during the same time and conditions added more empirical evidence to my observations. Further research gave rise to my hypothesis as to topological and vegetation contributions to propagation of the infrasound generated by the wind turbines causing it to reach my home and beyond. I also found research reports that showed that my adrenal insufficiency was the root of my severe reaction to the infrasound invading my body.

As my neighbors and I became more cognizant of the insidious effects of the turbines, we reached out to Dr. Laurie of the Waubra Foundation. It gave us great comfort to know this compassionate and scientifically rigorous professional was willing to do whatever she could from Australia to help us find answers to what was occurring in our small community caused by the relentless wind and infrasound-generating turbines.

When my health was so compromised that I knew I was dying, I finally knew that stubbornness against the pernicious effects of the turbines could and would never defeat the infrasonic wave radiation. My sister gave me refuge to escape.

From the other side of the world, Dr. Laurie gave me validation and encouragement. Dr. Laurie’s ready desire to help was a valuable asset to my physiological and psychological well-being. She corresponded with me with no mention nor expectation of remuneration for her time and expertise.

Beyond the incessant bombardment of the wind turbine-generated infrasound, and with proper treatment support, my adrenal glands were able to begin to recover.

I hope you will evaluate the precious and global reach of Dr. Laurie and the Waubra Foundation’s invaluable efforts to evaluate, inform and promote a return to health of all those acros-the-globe who are suffering the adverse health effects of industrial wind energy.

Thank you for your attention.
Sincerely,
