Waubra Foundation Directors and residents affected by wind turbines attend NHMRC Workshop

Waubra foundation Chairman Peter Mitchell, Directors Kathy Russell and Sarah Laurie attended the NHMRC workshop in Canberra. Sarah was invited to chair the panel of 3 residents who spoke to the NHMRC Workshop in Canberra, being Donald Thomas from Waubra, David Page from Capital, and Berni Janssen from Waubra/Evansford. This workshop brought together residents impacted by wind turbine developments from South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales, as well as acousticians, wind industry representatives, public health officials and representatives from climate and health advocacy groups and researchers.
