Correia, Shellie. Writes to ACNC in support of Waubra Foundation
On behalf of my son, and others like him, that will suffer greatly if they do not get the relief they need, I am asking you to do the best thing for all of us, and allow this organization to continue their wonderful work, with a Health Promotion Charitable Status.
Ms. Pascoe,
As the mother of a son, with specials needs, who has received much needed information and support from the Waubra Foundation, I am asking you, to allow the Waubra Foundation to maintain it’s Health Promotion charity status. It is unconscionable, that the wind industry can afford countless people to provide support for their agenda, but when residents surrounding the projects, genuinely have issues regarding the noise, infrasound and flicker, the wind promoters try everything they can, to shut them down.
This is a complete travesty of justice. Please allow people to continue to support this valuable charitable organization, and let them continue to provide their much needed service to people who desperately need help with their serious health issues.
My son has severe Sensory Processing Disorder. Sounds are processed by Joey, much differently, than they are for a “normal” brain. At school, special accommodations are made to ensure Joey is able to work in a quiet environment. When the noise levels become unbearable for him, they have a “quiet room”, that he can go to. If we are surrounded by huge, noise and infrasound producing wind turbines, that will be impossible. Even with a letter from his specialist, telling the gov’t & wind industry, that Joey will indeed find the noise intolerable, and backing up Joey’s history, as well as the school doing the same, I am still fighting an ongoing battle with the gov’t and the wind industry, who are in a very incestuous relationship, to say the least. (I have attached Dr. Calvert’s letter.)
On behalf of my son, and others like him, that will suffer greatly if they do not get the relief they need, I am asking you to do the best thing for all of us, and allow this organization to continue their wonderful work, with a Health Promotion Charitable Status.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Shellie C. Correia
