Green, Lilli-Ann. To ACNC in Support of Waubra Foundation
The work that the Waubra Foundation has achieved is admirable and should be an inspiration for all not-for-profits around the world. This foundation has sought the truth.
Dear Commissioner Pascoe:
It has come to my attention that the ACNC Assistant David Locke has ruled that the Waubra Foundation is not a Health Promotion Charity. Nothing could be farther from the truth. I look to you to right this wrong.
Furthermore David Locke’s assertion that “to date there has been no rigorous independent scientific evidence that finds that the ill health complained of is caused by the physiological effects from wind turbines” is just plain incorrect.
I am a CEO of a United States health care consulting and quality improvement company with a national reach which was formed in 1979. I have worked with teams of experts throughout the United States to develop numerous nation-wide educational programs in the health care sector.
I have spent the past four years researching the impact of wind turbines on individuals and communities. I have created the film Pandora’s Pinwheels which documents the reports of people who experience adverse effects from living in close proximity to wind turbines as well as experts who describe why the impacts of wind turbines are different from other industrial machines. This film can be viewed at the following link:
I have now interviewed over 200 people in 15 countries around the world including people living in the proximity of wind turbines, health care professionals, researchers, scientists, politicians, journalists, environmentalists, and advocates.
In all of the countries we visited, we found clusters of people living in the proximity of wind turbines that report the same symptoms, using the same words and gestures.
I have worked with my legislators and they have sponsored bills to study the adverse health effects of wind turbines. I have amassed over 300 peer reviewed articles, reports, white papers and other pertinent information regarding the adverse health impacts of wind turbines. Please find attached a graphic showing the adverse impacts documented in my state alone.
The work that the Waubra Foundation has achieved is admirable and should be an inspiration for all not-for-profits around the world. This foundation has sought the truth. The work of the Waubra Foundation is as deserving of a not-for-profit status as any foundation in any place in the world. I sincerely hope that you will confirm that the Waubra Foundation is well deserving a not-for-profit status. I also hope that you will do the right thing and also issue a sincere apology for the mistake of Assistant David Locke.
