In 2011 philanthropist Bruce MacPherson bequeathed funds to study wind turbine health effects. The field study was performed at Sue Hobart’s home in April 2011. The data was subsequently analysed and published in 2012 in the peer-reviewed journal Bulletin of Science, Technology & Society.
In addition to reporting on their study, the acousticians Ambrose and Rand experienced adverse health effects consistent with those reported by some Falmouth residents.
